- AuctionsMelbourne topped every reporting capital — 59.2% clearance from 570 scheduled. But Domain's own count had the same weekend at 57%, off more reported results and more pass-ins. Same 570 auctions, two different answers.
- PricesMelbourne down 1.2% in July, −3.4% for the quarter — yet KPMG tips attached homes (units, townhouses) up 7.1% across 2026 while detached falls 5%. Ballarat's up ~14% annually.
